Hair breaking news....

Is your hair breaking off, frizzy?
There are some things you can do to stop this from happening:

1. Keep blow dryer 5 inches away from your head...pickup your hair dryer and pay attention the next time you blow dry your hair ..if you have a breakage spot check out how close you are with the dryer in that area or area's.

2. When straightening your hair with at straightening iron apply a straightening product made for straightening on your hair first, then use your iron. Oil serums (use for shine and smoothing), hair sprays, are not a product that protect the hair, what you are doing is buring the oil with heat which burns and drys out your hair. Same thing happens with hair spray. So Please use products for heat styling. Professional products are the best. This is the same if you curl your hair use a product that works for curling with heat.

3. Is your hair breakage/frizzies around the ear area or above some a little below..all around your head ....well that is from wearing pony tails and tightening them with out take out the band and replacing it instead you pull your hair and the band tightens and your hair is pulled and tension is put on hair and snap breakage. So remember to take out your pony tail bands and replace them in your hair instead of pulling your hair. Also hair clips, headbands are another cause wear them little.

4. Wind, is another natural cause. Brushing, combing are all things that can cause breakage.

So what we can change we should, please use professional salon products that help protect your hair when using heat, use Shampoo and Conditioners that are professional salon products. That is the best advise I can give you. Salon products are more advanced in technology then items you may buy at your favorite store. Please call me and I can give you a prescription for your hair care. 214-478-9871, Pam Cox.
